Your practice portfolios, due on Tuesday 15 December before 5pm, should contain these elements:
- an about page with directions for your readers and an acknowledgements section for image citations, your CC license, and any other acknowledgments
- your working definition of the body (this will probably need to be 1000 words or so)
- include references and examples from each unit
- include references from Sapere Aude
- include at least two images of pages from your red notebook (or your similar writing space; we hope it’s your red notebook) with your reading notes
- be sure to use Prof. Robb’s On Definitions primer and include it in your citations or acknowledgements section
- your working definition of the humanities and of the Humanities (this will probably need to be 1000 words or so)
- include references and examples from each unit
- include references and examples from at least half-a-dozen plenary lectures or presentations or workshops
- include at least two images of pages from your red notebook (or your similar writing space; we hope it’s your red notebook) with notes about the humanities and the Humanities
- a newly revised version of paper 1 or paper 2
- an expanded and polished version of one of your campus or off-campus event commentaries
- a revised and expanded version of one of your slack posts or reading annotations from each unit; you may decide to connect these four posts in some way
- something new (creative, reflective, analytical, exegetical, hermeneutic, discursive, performative—we have so many great models of different modes and genres in our course) by you that is a text; connect this to your experience in our course
- something new by you that is not a text (image or images, audio, video, performance, something else?); connect this to your experience in our course
- something new (text or non-text) that is collaborative; connect this to your experience in our course
